CAS card with a beautiful image

Hello there,

This is DT Priyadarhini here with a project for Le Anns World 101 using Dragon rider image. Its a CAS card using the image and pattern paper.

I printed the image and colour with polychromos pencils. These are the best pencils for colouring as they blend really well.

I fuzzy cut the image and added it to a pattern paper (this is a ombre pattern paper and I felt this colour went well with the image).

I added some liquid pearls and a sentiment o finish my card.

Transparent teacher card

This is DT Priyadarshini here, my post for today is a transparent teacher card using Chemistry Chris from Le Anns world 101 images. Its a beautiful image that can be used in many ways.

I made a transparent card using this image. My main focus was on the image and kept the card simple.

I used a OHP sheet for the card and added the coloured image on it. Aligning with the outer image I added a small white card on the inside of the card to write a message.

I added the sentiment and turned it into a card for teachers. (Teachers are such an important part of a student's life. They shape our lives and teach us so much and such cards are just a small way for us to show our gratitude).

Christmas Cutie

Before we know it, the holiday season will be upon us and some will be scrambling to get those Christmas cards done for year.  I decided to start early, so I wasn't waiting until the last minute.  I love this adorable image from LeAnn's World 101 (link to her Etsy store here).  I knew she'd make a cute Christmas card.

I colored her with my Zig markers, which really made for a fun image when complete.  I followed this simple sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch #36.  They have a ton of sketches if you are ever in a bind for a card layout.

Here you can see the bling I added to the cuffs of her boots and hat.

My color choices on this image are as follows:
Outfit ~ Light Green, Deep Red, May Green, Emerald Green, Wine Red and Carmine Red
Skin ~ Flesh Colour and Oatmeal
Hair ~ Medium Brown and Dark Brown
Holly ~ Light Green, Olive Green and Red
Boots ~ Dark Grey and Pale Grey
Eyes ~ Light Blue

Goodies used on this card:
LeAnn's World 101 ~ Chelsea Digital Stamp
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
Recollections ~ Gingerbread Paper Pad
ColorBox Chalk ~ Blue Lagoon and Warm Red
Spectrum Noir ~ Clear Sparkle Pen

Sending You Hugs

I just popped by to show you this simple card I just finished using a cute digital stamp from LeAnn's beautiful collection of Digital Stamps.  The image is called Caite

I coloured this cute little girl with Copic markers, Pitt Pen and pencil crayons then layered the image with designer paper, a flower tag, clouds and a sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week.

Winter Fun

Have y'all tried no-line coloring yet?!? You can accomplish that even with digital stamps.  I used the adorable Clumbsy Claude to create a fun winter themed card.  Kinda takes me back to crazy days of skating and skiing down our neighbors hill.

To get the no-line look, I turned the transparency down in my Silhouette Studio software, almost to the point you could barely see the image.  Print that on pencil paper.  The print another copy at full transparency on regular paper.  You can put the original image under the lightly printed image to help see the lines.

It's a fun way to color these adorable images!  I chose to add a night sky to my image, resembling Northern Lights.  Oh how I miss seeing those!!

My color choices for this card:
Skin ~ Nectar, Peach, Light Peach, Blush Pink, Deco Pink and White
Hair ~ Chocolate, Light Umber and Goldenrod
Hat/Scarf ~ Black, Cobalt Turquoise, Aquamarine, Light Aqua, White, 50% Cool Grey and 20% Cool Grey
Top ~ Pumpkin Orange, Mineral Orange, Yellowed Orange, Sunburst Yellow and White
Pants ~ Indigo Blue, Denim Blue, Mediterranean Blue and Cloud Blue
Snow ~ White, Powder Blue, Blue Slate, Mediterranean Blue and 70% Cool Grey
Skates ~ White, Black, 20% Cool Grey, 50% Cool Grey and 70% Cool Grey
Trees ~ White, Sap Green Light, Kelly Green, Grass Green and Olive Green
Night Sky ~ Indanthrone Blue, Denim Blue, True Blue, Light Aqua, Lavender, Powder Blue
